Platforms

Faculty, staff and students in Questrom have access to two virtual event platforms: Zoom and Remo. All members of the Questrom community have access to Zoom meetings by default.  Helpful guides and links for using these platforms can be found below. If there is additional documentation or resources you would like to see here, please let us know. If you are interested in using a Zoom Webinar or Meeting or the Remo platform for your event, please fill out the Event Support Request Form.

Closed Captioning

Questrom has partnered with CaptionFirst for our virtual events. Captioning events is an important aspect of ensuring that our events are accessible for everyone interested in attending. The responsibility for captioning can vary based on the intended audience, so we have created a helpful flowchart to assist in determining when captions are necessary and who is responsible for making these arrangements. If you have any questions on this, please be sure to reach out to us.

To request captioning services:

  • Complete the Questrom Event Support Request Form
  • Include an open-ended response question in your event registration form with the following text:
    • We look forward to your participation in this event. If you require any accommodations in order to attend, please indicate this below. A staff member from the Questrom School of Business will follow up with you. Please note these requests must be made at least 3 business days in advance.
  • A member of the Questrom Events and Conferences team will coordinate with one of our captioning vendors and will provide you with contact information.
