January 14
The Graduate Admissions Office is thrilled to welcome you to Questrom. This is an exciting time, but we know it can be a little overwhelming, too. First, let’s get you started with your next steps. Below is an outline of important dates and details to help make your transition to Questrom as smooth as possible. The Graduate Admissions Team is always available to answer any questions you have. We can’t wait to see you here!
LAUNCH is a required orientation for all entering students at Questrom. The PEMBA LAUNCH program this year will be all virtual. The program will consist of a combination of both a-sychronous and sychronous content. The a-sychronous content will be released starting the week of 1/4 leading up to a day of sychronous content on 1/14. We will also host some sessions post Launch the week of 1/18. More details to come later this month!
In preparation for LAUNCH and the Spring Semester, all students who are enrolled in AC711 – Financial Report and Control, must complete mandatory pre-work. The pre-work is now available in Questrom Tools. After logging in, look for 2021 (Spring) PEMBA Accounting Pre-work and Launch, and read specific instructions for submitting each of the assignments. For those coming in with little or no background in these areas, this preparation is particularly critical, and you should allow up to 15-20 hours total prep time. For those with prior background, the time required should be significantly less. Please note that assignments are due on Friday, January 22nd at 11:59pm. Students who are not taking AC711 during their first semester are not required to complete this pre-work.
It’s important for us to get to know you! Please complete your New Student Info Form by January 6th. Plan to spend 10 minutes completing this form. You will be asked for your BU ID on the form. To find this, login to your application portal, select “Supporting Information,” and then under “University Affiliation” you will find your BU ID.
Please follow these directions in order to upload an ID Photo for your Terrier Card (BU Student ID). Please note that BU employees starting the program cannot be issued a student ID and can disregard this step.
To apply for federal financial aid and/or private loans, please consult 2020-2021 Instructions and Application for Federal Financial Aid and Private Educational Loans website.
If you applied to Questrom with unofficial or scanned copies of your transcripts or test scores, remember to send us your official documents.
