Once you have submitted your Declaration of Intent Form and confirmed your attendance to Boston University by submitting your first tuition deposit, you will receive an email with a gateway where you can upload your required I-20 documents.
All of the required documents below are to be submitted electronically or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org between March 18, 2019 and June 21, 2019. For those students admitted to our MS in Business Analytics program, materials are to be submitted no later than June 1, 2019. If the gateway does not work or you run into problems, please email email@example.com.
We strongly urge you to submit materials earlier rather than later, as embassy delays are common during peak season.
Once you have submitted all of the required forms, we will email you a confirmation that your documents have been delivered to the ISSO. The ISSO will be evaluating your required documents. If you are transferring your SEVIS code from a US institution, ISSO will contact you directly with the necessary steps for the transfer process. In the meantime, we ask for your patience as we are trying to process several hundred documents for many different programs. Again, we strongly recommend submitting your materials in a timely manner, as the I20 turnaround takes appropriately 2 weeks once confirmed by ISSO. Also, please keep in mind that embassy interviews tend to fill up fast.
