Positions Held: President (2012-2013) and Events Chair (2011-2012)
What LOCK has done for you: LOCK helped me grow as a leader. My goals as President were to change LOCK’s culture and to enhance and broaden the type of services LOCK performed. I had complex goals for LOCK, my E-board, and the newly created “Sub-Committees”, but by learning the importance of “delegating”, I was able to oversee several positive changes for the organization that I myself, or the E-Board, would not have been able to accomplish alone. Having a vision is one thing, but what I found to be most important was executing on that vision, and knowing who to turn to to get the solutions and results that I needed. The continued development of services provided by the organization make me so proud to say that I am a LOCK Alumni.
