Hi, my name is Chris Pratt and I am currently a senior in Boston University’s Questrom School of Business concentrating in Finance and Real Estate. I joined LOCK as a freshman and wanted to get involved as soon as possible. I have always been passionate about giving back to my community and LOCK seemed like a great opportunity for community service. Serving as the president, I have worked to make the tutoring we offer stronger and continue the momentum the organization has seen over the last couple of years. Sabina Razak, Questrom’18

My name is Sabina Razak and I am a senior in Questrom concentrating in Management Information Systems and Operations & Technology Management, with a minor in Computer Science. I am originally from Basking Ridge, New Jersey and love living in Boston and taking advantage of all the city has to offer. Outside of LOCK, I’m involved on campus as a member of the Questrom Honors Program and Dean’s Fellowship in Social Impact. I also volunteer at a preschool in the South End through an early education organization called Jumpstart. I’m look forward to continuously innovating and maintaining LOCK’s tradition of service this year.

My name is Dana and I’m from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I’m a senior in Questrom concentrating in Operations & Technology Management and International Management with a minor in French. This is my fourth semester on LOCK E-board and my second semester as your Events Chair. My goal is to make sure every member can complete their community service requirements with fun events that have a real impact on our community. Hi, I’m Smeet and I’m from Massachusetts. I am a sophomore interested in finance and joined LOCK my freshman year. I enjoy tutoring and helping others learn. I TA for finance 101 and I am also involved in various clubs on campus. I am currently co-events chair and hope to get to know everyone through our events and build a strong community through community service!

Hello! My name is Vanessa Chien and I am a junior in Questrom concentrating in Marketing and Retail. I grew up in Santiago, Chile, but my family is originally from Taiwan. When I’m not serving as Marketing Chair for LOCK, you can find me volunteering for Habitat for Humanity, doing calligraphy, and practicing Taekwondo! I am also part of the Questrom Honors Program. As Marketing Chair, I hope to spread the word of LOCK and foster a sense of community!

My name is Justin Bartenbach and I am a junior in Questrom concentrating in Finance & Accounting. I am originally from Newport, RI, but I am really enjoying going to school in Boston. Outside of LOCK, I am the VP of Corporate Relations for BUFC and the Head TA for FE101. I’m looking forward to helping LOCK connect more with our alumni base and with the greater Questrom community.

Madeline Ahern, Questrom ’19

Hello Everyone! My name is Madeline Ahern, and I am from Potomac, Maryland. I am currently a Junior in Questrom intending to concentrate in Finance and Operations, with a minor in Spanish. During my time at BU I have become involved in the Siblings Program, Kappa Alpha Theta, and I have served as a TA for SM 131. I have always enjoyed tutoring. I tutored a young boy while I was in high school, and I have continued as a tutor for the LOCK program. I am excited to oversee the tutoring portion of LOCK during the upcoming semester.
