Take the Leap!
Students wishing to pursue dual bachelor’s degrees may enroll simultaneously in the Questrom School of Business and another undergraduate school or college within Boston University. Applications must be made no later than the first semester of the junior year. If admitted, students must satisfy all requirements of both degrees, must be enrolled in the program for at least three semesters, and must complete no fewer than 36 courses and a minimum of 144 credits.
Earning two degrees requires extra course work, which can be completed through a combination of AP credit, summer courses, overloading, and/or extra semesters of study.
Dual Degree Policies and Application Procedure
Non-Questrom students who wish to pursue the Dual Degree Program with Questrom must have a 3.00 GPA and earn at least a B in SM131 and FE101. Students who don’t earn a B in their first attempt at taking SM131 and/or FE101 may take them a second time. The average grade in the two attempts must be a 3.00. (E.g. If a student earns a B- (2.7) in his/her first attempt at FE101 and an A- (3.7) in his/her second attempt, the average of these grades is 3.2 and s/he is all set. However, if s/he earns a B- in the first attempt and a B in the second attempt, this is insufficient, as these grades average to a 2.85.)
