Each included development and engagement of pre-event content to inform dialogue and spark ideas, and was distributed across platforms and social media. Then, a regional symposium was held with key regional stakeholders in management education, where groups came together to tackle critical issues and recommend solutions. With the continued support of AACSB, EFMD, and GMAC, these global conversations created unprecedented understanding of the critical challenges, commonalities, and differences in business education globally. In total, over 3,000 individuals were engaging in some activity related to the global jam dialogues. These findings will come together in a global symposium in Boston on November 11-12, 2019.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><br \/>\n\n<style type=\"text\/css\" data-created_by=\"avia_inline_auto\" ><p>Findings from our series of global dialogues will be advanced during the The Global Symposium described below.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Here are some of the key emerging findings which cut across all regions of the world:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Digital Transformation &amp; Innovation<\/strong> are impacting how business is done. Business schools must develop curricula which recognizes and prepares students for the world of artificial intelligence, machine learning and human\/machine interactions.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Inclusive Growth<\/strong> is a critical consideration in advancing business &amp; society. Elements of inclusive growth include financial inclusion (Fin Tech), social inclusion (social networks\/capital), political inclusion, Tri-sector collaboration (business, government and society) and environmental sustainability.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Entrepreneurship <\/strong>must be leveraged to generate economic growth through new business and enterprise formation.\u00a0 Methods and models of both financial and social entrepreneurship should be explored.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ethics and Corruption<\/strong> is a significant problem in both developed and developing countries.\u00a0 For example, while everybody is aware of the corruptions and state capture by ex-President Zuma in South Africa, the recent money laundering scandal involving Danske Bank in Denmark, has shaken the foundations of a well-run social democracy such as Denmark.\u00a0 The key question here is how can we build an ethical culture, moral compass and ethical mindset, in our students<\/li>\n<li><strong>Globalization, Global Mindsets and Global Citizenry.<\/strong> The alternative to global integration is unappealing.\u00a0 At the current time we see a growing chorus of nationalism across borders, which impedes globalization and global change.\u00a0\u00a0 Education about global mindsets is important and hence, incorporating aspects of international finance, international economics and development, can become important, particularly in developing and emerging economies. \u00a0\u00a0In addition, the discussion of how trading and economic blocs such as the EU, AU, ASEAN, etc. influence and structure global trade is critical.\u00a0\u00a0 And, further, the understanding of international partnerships, FDI, and foreign aid in stimulating regional and global trade is increasingly important as economies evolve.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Data Science and Analytics: The Analytical Mindset<\/strong>.It is increasingly important to redesign business models in fast-paced and changing economic environments.\u00a0\u00a0 A focus on data analytics and modern computing methods is extremely appropriate in assessing competition and competitive strategy.<\/li>\n<li><strong>The Leadership Deficit<\/strong>.Character, context and culture define the main aspects of leadership.\u00a0 What are the behavioral skills required of leader to adapt to ambiguity, change and economic volatility?
