Student Emergency Needs Fund

Through the generosity of our alumni, as well as the Office of the Dean, faculty, and staff, Boston University Questrom School of Business has launched an emergency fund to help students directly impacted by the COVID-19 crisis and the resulting economic downturn.

Any currently enrolled Questrom student may submit a request for funding to reduce financial hardships associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, including support for:

  • Basic life needs, including food, toiletries, and necessary medications;
  • Educational expenses, including books and technology costs associated with moving to online learning;
  • Travel expenses associated with campus closure, including transportation fees and economy airfare, storage of personal possessions; and
  • Other unmet financial costs due to loss of employment.

While we may not be able to fully fund all requests, additional resources beyond the Questrom Student Emergency Needs Fund exist for the benefit of students in need due to the health and economic crisis. We will do our best to help students identify additional resources to ease their financial hardships.

Requests for funding are reviewed every two weeks. Below is the schedule for submissions and decision notifications:
