Why should you be a Dean’s Host? 

Are you looking for a valuable experience to work with an outstanding group of Questrom student leaders and faculty? This is your chance! The Dean’s Host program is a group of leaders who have excelled in their Questrom academic and extracurricular lives. You will gain exposure in presenting while operating tours and develop key communication skills. All Hosts develop extensive knowledge of BU and Questrom and pass on their experience to prospective students and their families. 

The application opens on March 19, 2021 and closes at 11:59pm on April 9, 2021 for fall 2021 recruitment. 

Responsibilities and Commitments: 

  • Attend training once per semester 
  • Fulfill the semester tour requirement (lead one Questrom tour per week) 
  • Fulfill the event requirement by completing required number of events per semester
  • Attend at least one mandatory Questrom spring open house 
  • Communicate with Hosts and Coordinators 
  • Dress business professional in Dean’s Host red blazers for Tours and Events
  • Represent the Dean’s Host program by maintaining accountability, responsibility, and professionalism


  • Open to Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior Questrom BSBA degree students
  • Preferred minimum GPA of 3.0 
  • Must be present on Boston University campus in the fall 2021 semester 

Interview Process: 

  1. Complete the application form with a resume and cover letter attached by April 9, 2021.
  2. Applications and resumes will be reviewed by Questrom staff and the program’s student co-coordinators.
  3. Successful applicants will be invited for a group interview with the Dean’s Host Coordinators and senior Dean’s Hosts.
  4. Successful applicants after the group interview will be invited to join the program.
