Instructions for Evaluations

Before class:

  • Please ask your students to bring an internet-enabled device to class on the day you plan to administer the evaluations. They can use a laptop, smartphone, tablet, etc.

During class:

  • Step 1. Activate your course’s evaluation by logging in at from the classroom computer.
  • Step 2: Ask your students to log in at
  • Please step out in to the hall while the students complete the evaluation.

When your students go to, they will be prompted to log in using their BU username and Kerberos password. Their login is not tied to their response, and their responses are completely anonymous. They will see a message about this before logging in.

Please conduct the evaluation at the beginning or middle of class to ensure that students have enough time to complete the evaluations. Once you activate your evaluation, it will be open for one hour, or until the end of class, whichever comes first.

If a student does not have an internet-enabled device, please encourage them to complete the Course/Instructor Evaluation on a paper form which are available in the Computer Lab (328), the UDC (Suite 104), Master’s & PhD Center (1st Floor), or MBA Center (4th Floor). Reviewing Your Course/Instructor Evaluation Results

Faculty and Department Chairs can review Course/Instructor Evaluation results by logging in here!

For courses that have been evaluated and final grades have been submitted, evaluation results are released to this site on the following approximate dates:

  • September 10
  • November 15
  • December 20 (for standard Fall courses)
  • February 1
  • April 1
  • June 1 (for standard Spring courses)
  • August 1
