Prior to business school, Faraz served as the Admissions Director for McLean Hospital\u2019s Center for Neurodevelopmental Services, ranked as the best psychiatric hospital by US News and the largest teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School. He has received numerous accolades for his work from Partners HealthCare, Transition House, Horizon\u2019s for Homeless Children, and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Faraz holds a B.A. in psychology, concentrating in neuroscience, from Boston College. This summer, Faraz interned at Fuld + Company, consulting on Global Health and Life Sciences projects and internal business development strategic initiatives. In addition to being involved with the Health and Life Sciences Conference, Faraz also serves as the VP of Fundraising for the Internship Club. At the University of Mississippi, she received a B.A. in International Studies and Spanish and wrote a thesis about indigenous women\u2019s rights in the Bolivian public healthcare system. Prior to business school, she worked as an AmeriCorps member with Impact America in Birmingham, Alabama. Within this role, she worked on two education initiatives managing a middle school debate league and a high school Advanced Placement enrichment program. This past summer, Kendra interned with Cognizant Business Consulting as an MBA Healthcare Summer Associate. Within this role, she worked to help redesign a sales and marketing healthcare approach to be more consumer-centric and digitally-minded. After graduating from the University of Vermont in 2012, Liz served with AmeriCorps working with children and parents on getting children into educational programs. She also interned at the Clinton Foundation building strategic partnerships and frameworks with over 50 companies, foundations, and policymakers. She most recently served as an HR manager implementing a new recruiting management system at a food start-up. After earning a BA in Biological Sciences from the University of Chicago, Alex worked for the Center of Systems Biology of Oxygen Sensing at the University of Chicago Medical Center, studying new treatment options for sleep apnea. This summer Alex interned at Boston MedTech Advisors, a small medical device consulting firm that specializes on the regulatory and business development aspects of bringing devices to market. She received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Seattle University. Before going back to school, Emily was working in clinical research and quality improvement at Seattle Children\u2019s Hospital. The research was focused on health outcomes in the inpatient setting, while the quality improvement projects related to improvement of delivery of care in both the inpatient and ambulatory setting. This summer, she interned at Harvard Pilgrim Healthcare within Product Management. This summer, Adam interned in Health Industries Advisory at PwC within the Health Services Strategic Transformation team, working on an international strategy project for a Boston-area hospital. He has over a decade of experience in the health sector, and currently works for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. He has spent the last 6 years working to implement the Medicaid provisions of the Affordable Care Act, with a focus on expanding eligibility and reforming payment and delivery systems for low-income health programs. She received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from MIT, where she was heavily involved in R&amp;D research labs from cancer research to biofuel energy. After graduation, Lina worked for project management at Shell Oil and Gas, where she gained experience in cost estimating for multi billion dollar upstream projects. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, receiving a B.A. in Political Science concentrating in International Relations and was on the pre-medical track. While at Penn, she traveled to Nigeria, Africa on a self-designed outreach trip to help with strategy in rural community clinics, specifically focused on expanding clinical access for women. Prior to business school Natassya worked as a Multi-Center Program Manager at the Massachusetts General Hospital. Within this role, she supported several multi-disciplinary research studies helping on-board national hospitals into active MGH trials, with attention to data integrity and study implementation. This included overseeing the largest national pediatric radiation registry, with a consortium of 10 national hospital partners. Following graduation from Amherst, she worked in editorial at UpToDate, an online clinical decision support resource, helping to provide best-practice recommendations to medical professionals. Prior to coming to Questrom, she worked at athenahealth on their electronic health record product. There, her work focused on developing evidence-based templates and workflows to enable clinicians to provide quality care to their patients.
