WHAT’S NEXT?


The Graduate Admissions & Financial Aid Office is thrilled to welcome you to Boston University Questrom School of Business and the Masters in Business Analytics program.

This is an exciting time, but we know it can be a little overwhelming, too. First, let’s get you started with your next steps. Below is an outline of important dates and details to help make your transition to Questrom as smooth as possible. This site also provides you with information on resources available to you as an MSBA student, as well as frequently asked questions. Looking to connect with current MSBA students? Feel free to reach out directly.  Have questions about financial aid? We’ve got your covered.  Most importantly, don’t forget, the Graduate Admissions team is always an email or call away to answer any questions you have.

  • Submit Your Initial Deposit

    You can find your due date for your $2000 enrollment deposit in your offer of admission. In addition, please note that your final $500 confirmation deposit must be submitted by:

    • April 21, 2023* (for those who applied in rounds 1-3)
    • May 17, 2023* (for those who applied in rounds 4-5)

    *Unless it is noted differently in your acceptance letter

  • Mark Your Program Start Date

    Your MSBA program begins with our Programming and Statistics Bootcamp. This bootcamp is scheduled to run from on August 14, 2023 – August 25, 2023, and will only be offered in-person.  More details about format and schedule will be provided in separate communications during the summer.

    Bootcamp will be followed by your LAUNCH Orientation. LAUNCH is mandatory and will be held ONLY in-person for all incoming students and is scheduled to run from August 29-August 31, 2023 . More details to come in the spring semester

  • Lookout for Master’s & PhD Center Communications

    In May/June 2023, you will begin to receive communications from the Master’s & PhD Center about LAUNCH, your class schedule, and more.

    In the meantime, we would like to provide you with some optional, pre-program resources. These resources are intended as examples and most topics have several viable alternatives – This is NOT required or pre-requisite knowledge.

  • Send Your Official Documents

    If you applied to Questrom with unofficial or scanned copies of your transcripts or test scores, remember to send us your official documents.

  • Review Incoming Health Requirements

    Review your BU Incoming Health Requirements. Student Health Services will be in touch with you prior to your program start date.

  • Apply for Financial Aid

    Please click here for the 2023-2024 Instructions and Application for Federal Financial Aid.

    Visit the Graduate Financial Aid website for information concerning private educational loans and other outside resources.

  • International Students: Upload Required I-20 Documents
