If you get a red box or an error message, that means one of your courses did not get added. It might mean the class is already full and you\u2019ll need to pick an alternate section\/course. See if you can troubleshoot the issue.\u00a0 If you\u2019re still stuck, don\u2019t worry! We&#8217;re here to help!<\/li>\n<li>From the menu on the left, select\u00a0 &#8220;Schedule&#8221; to view your registration.\u00a0 The default is a calendar view beginning the first week of classes.\u00a0 Please note that the semester starts on a Tuesday, so you won&#8217;t see your Monday classes unless you scroll to another week.\u00a0 \u00a0You can also view your schedule in a list view by selecting the appropriate icon in the top right of your screen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If your last name begins with A-L (and you\u2019re not taking ES110), you will take 16 units, and may take no more than 18 units this semester.\u00a0 If your last name begins with M-Z (and you are taking ES110), you will take 17 units, and may take no more than 19 units this semester.\u00a0 These unit allowances will swap in the Spring.\u00a0 You may choose to use these \u201cextra\u201d 2 units to register for CAS FY101 (an optional First Year Experience course).<\/p>\n<p>Note: Students in their first semester CANNOT exceed 18 units (or 19 units if taking ES110).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Congratulations on registering for your first college semester!<\/strong> Continue to <a href=\"https:\/\/questromworld.bu.edu\/orientation\/next-steps\">Step 6<\/a> for what&#8217;s next.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"parent":0,"menu_order":11,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"footnotes":"","_links_to":"","_links_to_target":""},"class_list":["post-92","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.3 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/product\/yoast-seo-wordpress\/ -->\n<title>Step 5: Register!
