\u00a0You can also set up an appointment to speak to an advisor via Handshake!<br \/>\nDuring these meetings you can learn how the courses you take while abroad will fit with graduation plans\u00a0and\u00a0where Questrom students usually go.<\/p>\n<p>ABROAD PROGRAM LOGISTICS<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/abroad\/about\/advising-options\/\">Make an appointment with a study abroad program manager!<\/a><br \/>\nDuring these meetings you can learn about the application process, each abroad location, the internships available, the visa paperwork involved, etc.<\/p>\n<h4>Scheduling an appointment<\/h4>\n<p>Set up an appointment on <a href=\"https:\/\/bu.joinhandshake.com\/edu\">Handshake.<\/a> While Kelly Sachleben is the primary advisor for Study Abroad, all advisors in the UDC can answer questions about overseas study. If you&#8217;re not in town, you may set up an appointment to talk via Zoom.<\/p>\n<h4>Completing the Advisor Portion of the Study Abroad Application<\/h4>\n<p>List the academic advisor with whom you meet most frequently as your advisor on the application.<\/p>\n<p>For the Advisor Support of Participation, meet with a UDC advisor within a year of submitting your application\u00a0to review\u00a0how studying abroad\u00a0fits into your plans for graduation. Anytime after the meeting, you can\u00a0&#8220;nominate&#8221; your advisor\u00a0through the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/link\/bin\/uiscgi_misc_admissions.pl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">online application<\/a> to complete your Advisor Form.
