Our aim is to develop competence with flexibility. For students who begin as freshmen in Fall 2018, this will be accomplished through the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/hub\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Boston University Hub<\/a>, a University-wide general education program that helps to develop <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/hub\/about-the-hub\/what-is-the-hub\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">six essential capacities<\/a>\u00a0\u2014 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">knowledge, skills, and habits of mind \u2014 that will equip them to thrive in their personal, professional, and civic lives. For students beginning Fall 2016 or after, the credit minimum is 133 credits.
