Ralph H. Groce, III
Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Ralph H. Groce, III is an accomplished entrepreneur, visionary leader, and dedicated advocate for equitable innovation. Over the course of his career, he has founded and led multiple successful ventures, earning several patents and driving meaningful economic impact through forward-thinking enterprise.
He currently serves as President and Chief Operating Officer of Scroobious, a platform focused on expanding equitable access to investment capital. Prior to Scroobious, Ralph held senior leadership roles at Wells Fargo, where he served as Chief Information Officer and Global Head of Operations Technology, bridging entrepreneurial vision with large-scale technology strategy.
A proud Boston University alumnus, Ralph holds a bachelor’s degree from Questrom School of Business and a graduate degree from Metropolitan College, as well as an MBA from Queens University McColl School of Business. He has also been awarded an honorary doctorate from Johnson C. Smith University.
Ralph remains deeply engaged with Boston University, serving as Chair of the MET Dean’s Advisory Board and as a member of the University Advisory Board. In recognition of his enduring impact, he received MET’s Distinguished Alumni Award for Service to Alma Mater in 2017 and established the Ralph H. Groce, III Scholarship. In 2022, BU further honored his legacy by naming the Groce Pépin Culinary Innovation Laboratory—reflecting his passion for fostering the next generation of culinary talent.
