Submissions
We are currently accepting 3-minute video pitch submissions.
Wherever you are in your journey, we encourage you to apply.
Eligibility
- At least one founder must be a Questrom alumnus/a
- There is no limitation to number of Terriers who can be part of a team.
- Ventures may be at any stage (idea, MVP, early revenue, or growth stage)
- Submissions are welcome from all industries and geographies
- All finalists will be expected to attend and participate in the live Shark Tank event on November 5 at the Questrom campus.
Video Pitch Requirements
Your video should clearly and concisely address:
- Maximum length: 3 minutes
- The Problem and Your Solution
- What challenge are you solving and why does it matter?

What is your product/service and how does it work?
- Market Opportunity
- Who are your target customers (or ideal customer profile)?
- How large is the market opportunity?
- Business Model
- How do you make (or plan to make) money? (e.g., pricing, revenue model)
- What are your anticipated capital requirements?
- Traction (if applicable)
- Key milestones, users, revenue, partnerships, or validation
- Number of current customers (if applicable)
- Team
- Who is on your team and what are their roles?
- How many team members are currently involved?
- Why are you uniquely positioned to succeed?
- The Ask
- How would you utilize the funding and student support?
- What specific areas would you want support on (e.g., go-to-market, product, operations)?
Submission Format
- Recorded video (Zoom, Loom, or similar platforms are acceptable)
- Clear audio and visuals; slides optional but not required
- File or link submission (YouTube/Vimeo/Drive link preferred)
Optional Supporting Materials
- Pitch deck (PDF, 10–12 slides recommended)
- Executive summary (1 page)
- Links to product demos, website, or press (if available)
Evaluation Criteria
Submissions will be reviewed based on:
- Strength and clarity of the problem and solution
- Market potential and scalability
- Traction and execution (stage-appropriate)
- Founder/team capability
- Innovation and differentiation
- Potential to benefit from Questrom’s ecosystem (students, faculty, network)
Timeline
- Submission deadline: Friday, July 10
- Finalist notification: Friday, September 4
- Live pitch event: Thursday, November 5
