Lisa came to Questrom three years ago to teach in the MBA program and lead the Lifelong Learning Initiative. She has spent her career bringing ideas and research from top academic institutions to a global audience of students and professionals through executive education, case writing, teaching, and consulting with organizations across the US, Europe, Latin America and Asia. Lisa started her career in financial services working in New York and London and her work has spanned a number of domains including market research, consulting, and higher education administration. She currently is a board member and advisor to a number of educational technology firms.
Before coming to Questrom, Lisa was most recently part of a senior leadership team that built Emeritus Institute of Management from a small start-up into a global ed tech leader, working with top business schools in the US, UK, and Europe to bring their executive education online and accessible to a global audience. Lisa held many roles in her time with Emeritus, including Lead Learning Facilitator, Head of Global Instructional Design, and President of University Partnerships.
Prior to Emeritus, Lisa’s work focused on the legal profession. She led executive education at Harvard Law School and Georgetown Law Center and authored numerous Harvard case studies on leadership in professional services. She has also consulted with law firms in the areas of leadership, strategy, client service and partner compensation and co-wrote a book titled, BigLaw: Money and Meaning in the Modern Law Firm. She earned her PhD from the joint program in Organizational Behavior from Harvard Business School.
