Step 1: Get Ready to Register
Register for Orientation
Before you begin at Boston University this fall, your first step is to register for Orientation, which will go live in May and will take place entire last week of August.
At Orientation, you will learn about Boston University – the curriculum and important policies, and the many co-curricular clubs, sports, activities, and resources on campus. You will meet other Questrom School of Business First Years and many members of the Boston University community. You’ll also meet your advisors in the Undergraduate Development Center.
Dates of Fall Orientation 2025:
- Saturday, August 23rd or Sunday, August 24th is new student move-in. You will select your move-in time slot on the housing website.
- Monday, August 25th – Friday, August 29th: Orientation programming & events
- Friday, August 29th: Matriculation
- Saturday, August 30th: International Student Program

Create your BU Login
You should have already received information on setting up your BU login and Kerberos password (including your BU email account). If you have not yet done this, you must do so before you get started on your registration.
