Everyone on the team must be a current, degree seeking student
The Susilo Institute Business and Ethics Case Competition is designed for undergraduate and graduate students interested in applying what they learn in the classroom and from internships
This case competition will examine international business concepts around existing companies and live clients
We created this to provide a forum for students and executives worldwide to discuss, debate, and analyze the merits of international business and its intersection with ethics
Team Composition
- Any degree-seeking student can participate
- Open to undergraduate and graduate students concurrently
- Graduate students working with undergraduates
(or as an undergraduate only or graduate only team) - Minimum of four students per team, a maximum of five
- You do not have to be a business major or minor to participate!

Phase One
Information Session (to be recorded) October 7, 2025 from 11:00 am to 12 noon (EST).

- Each school can register up to 15 teams. Registration closes on October 10, 2025 at midnight (EST)
- After registering, we will release the first case study on October 12 at 9:00 am (EST)
- A 2-page write-up will be required (all in English), due on October 29 at midnight (EST)
- All submissions should be anonymous (first name, last initial, no school identification)
- Advancing teams will be notified by November 5, 2025. A revised, 3-page write-up will be due on November 19 at midnight (EST) and a 15-minute PowerPoint presentation will be due on November 30 at midnight (EST)
- Teams will present over Zoom in the First Round with Live Judging (by region) between December 1 – 3
- Finalist teams will be announced on December 9. The second case study (for the finals) will be released in early February and the Finals will take place the first week of June, 2026
Regionals
Phase Two
- A second case study will be released in February
- Five regional finalists will travel to finals in June / 2026
- Day #1. Day-long set of classes on International Business
- Day #2. Facilities Tour of the client
- Day #2. A 7-page write-up and 30-slide, 25-minute PowerPoint (followed by Q&A) will be required for the Finals (all in English)
