Susilo Case Competition
We are excited to be kicking off the 1st Susilo Institute Business and Ethics Case Competition!

The beauty of this case competition is that students in any degree seeking program are welcome to collaborate with one another on teams
The Susilo Institute Business and Ethics Case Competition is designed for undergraduate and graduate students interested in applying what they are learning in the classroom and from internships. This case competition will look at international business concepts around existing companies and live clients. We created this to provide a forum for students and executives around the world where they can discuss, debate, and analyze the merits of international business and its intersection with ethics.
· Any degree seeking student can participate
· Open to undergraduate and graduate students, concurrently
· Undergraduates working with graduate students
· Graduate students can work undergraduate students
· Minimum of 4 students per team, a maximum of five
No one even must be a business major or minor!
Everyone on the team must be a current, degree seeking student
· Alumni should not be on a team working with current students
· All team members must be enrolled at the same school
· Each school can register up to 5 teams
· After registering, we will release the first case study
· 2-page write-up and 15-minute PowerPoint (followed by Q&A) will be required in phase #1, three weeks later (all in English)
· All submissions should be anonymous (first name, last initial)
· Teams will present over Zoom in First Round with Live Judging in October or November
We will likely be holding the following Regional Contests
· Eastern Europe
· Western Europe
· Middle East & Africa
· Latin America
· Asia
· Second case study released in early December
· Five regional finalists + BU team will travel to finals in June / 2024
Day #1. Day long set of classes on International Business
Day #2. Facilities Tour of the client
Day #2. 5-page write-up and 30 slide, 25-minute PowerPoint (followed by Q&A) will be required for the Finals (all in English)
· Client from case study #2 will be judging the Finals directly
· Judging deliberations will done in person
· Same Format: Anonymous PowerPoint presentations followed by Q&A
