First, thank you for your service! BU’s Veterans Services office provides dedicated services and information to support you during your time at Boston University.
Starting a graduate degree program means a lot of changes for you but also for your family. Check out BU’s family resources to help make the transition easier for your family. Consult the new student guide for even more information.
The Questrom Common is your gateway to the Questrom graduate student experience. The Common will allow you to see and register for events, join student organizations, access resources, and connect with your community. You can view the public site questromcommon.bu.edu now to see our clubs and the calendar. After you have created your BU login, you will receive additional information and access to the site and our mobile app, which you will use during LAUNCH.

There are a variety of housing options for students to consider as they make their plans for the start of the program. BU offers some on-campus housing options for graduate students, and also provides resources to help with off-campus housing searches. On-campus graduate housing provides students the option to apply for both shared living and private apartments. The Off-Campus Services Office provides an online listing of off-campus apartments, rooms in apartments or houses, and roommate matching. Check out our housing advice video, created by current students, to learn about housing options and the different neighborhoods in the Greater Boston Area. See our welcome guide above for additional helpful tips.
In order to access the graduate housing portal, students will need to create their BU email and login information. To create your BU login, students must confirm their attendance by submitting their first deposit (if applicable) and their Declaration of Intent. A link to create your BU credentials will be emailed to you shortly thereafter.

You will be registered for your first semester of courses by your academic advisor. There is no need to do anything regarding registration at this time. Your academic advisor will notify you about your schedule in early August.
