Luisa is currently a second year full-time Social Impact MBA student at Questrom School of Business. She has been involved in several extracurricular leadership positions during her MBA journey. Most recently, she co-chaired Link Day, a pro bono consulting event for local nonprofits, which is noted as the largest student-led event at Questrom. She also took part in planning Questrom’s fifth annual DE&I Conference last October. Most notably, Luisa has served as LAMBA’s co-president for the past academic year, and was part of the student team that first inaugurated B-CON in 2021. 

After graduation, Luisa will join Heidrick & Struggles as a Senior Associate in their Industrial Practice. She holds a B.F.A. in Art History from Savannah College of Art and Design. 

Fernando Soto is a Senior Vice President in the Private Banking division. In his role, he advises entrepreneurs, private business owners, ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family offices and endowments and foundations on complex matters related to investing, wealth planning, philanthropy, family business governance and corporate advisory. He currently oversees some of Private Banking’s largest global relationships, helping clients achieve their definition of success for their family, wealth and business over generations. Fernando sits on BBH’s Private Banking Sustainability Committee as well as the Diversity & Inclusion  Council.

Prior to joining the firm in 2016, Fernando worked as a Management Consultant for the banking and securities practice at Deloitte Consulting, served as an Analyst for the corporate banking division at Scotiabank and spent a year as a research fellow at the London School of Economics working on value investing. Fernando was named to American Bankers Association’s 40 Under 40 in Wealth Management. He received a B.A. from Syracuse University and an MBA from Duke University, Fuqua School of Business

Mariana Cogan is the CMO at People.ai. Most recently SVP of Digital Experience and Engagement at PTC, Cogan pioneered the application of People.ai’s technology to build the revenue engine of the future, leading PTC to win Forrester’s Program of the Year for her “RO&I Engine.” Prior to PTC, Mexico-born Cogan held various roles of increasing responsibility in the software industry, and she is an advocate for diversity, inclusion, and uplifting minorities in the tech space. She believes deeply that diverse companies are more innovative and outperform less diverse ones. Cogan earned a master of business administration (MBA) from Babson College and a bachelor’s degree from Jochi University in Tokyo, Japan.

Isis J. Ortiz-Belton is a financial services and banking professional with over 13 years of experience. She is a Vice President, Portfolio Manager at Eastern Bank and has held various other roles at leading financial institutions.

Isis is an active community leader, DEI champion, and strong advocate for the education and financial literacy of minority students and the rights of women, BIPOC and those identifying as LGBTQ+.

She is the President for the Boston chapter of the Association of Latino Professionals for America, on the Board of Trustees for Phoenix Charter Academy Network, an Advisory Council member for the Lawrence Boys and Girls Club, and a Committee Member for the Cummings Foundation. 

Isis holds a B.A. in Mathematics and Business Management from Emmanuel College, an MSF from New England Institute of Business at Cambridge College, and an MBA from Bentley University. She’s a recipient of the 2014 McCallum Leadership Scholar Award, a 2018 Latinos for Education Board Fellow, a 2021 Boston Future Leaders Fellow, and a 2021 LEADS Lawrence Fellow. Most recently, Isis was recognized as a 2021 Latinx Amplifier, a 2021 Latina Rising Star by ALPFA, and co-authored her first book, Extraordinary Latinas.

Isis was born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico and currently resides with her wife in Lawrence, MA.
