Macs At Questrom

Overview

Questrom requires that you have Windows and Microsoft Office installed on your Mac in order to complete your coursework at Questrom.

Microsoft Office for Mac does not have all of the same features as Microsoft Office for Windows. You MAY not be able to complete all of your coursework using Microsoft Office for Mac 2016 (check with your instructor for details).

But if you have a Mac, don’t despair! Using Boot Camp (free from Apple) you can install Windows on your Mac and run Office for Windows.

Install Boot Camp

Need to complete HW and do not have time?
Go to the Open Access Lab (room 328). All lab computers have everything you need to complete your assignments.

Please note that Questrom ITS is no longer able to provide Windows for students at no cost due to changes in Microsoft’s licensing structure. Students looking for licenses to Windows must purchase Windows from Microsoft directly or other retailers.

The actual installation and configuration of Boot Camp is not supported by Questrom ITS. However, the BU IT Help Center can install the operating system for you for a small fee.
