BU Identity Groups

Boston University’s LGBTQIA+ Center for Faculty & Staff engages the BU community to foster a sense of belonging and connectedness for LGBTQIA+ faculty and staff; increase the visibility of LGBTQIA+ resources, research, and scholarship; celebrate the contributions of the diverse LGBTQIA+ community at BU; and improve recruitment and retention of LGBTQIA+ faculty and staff in the development of an inclusive and equitable workplace.

FSCNs promote a supportive culture and unity among underrepresented communities and their allies. They ensure BU remains a place where differences are valued as a source of strength, insight, and effectiveness. Any BU faculty or staff member can start a new FSCN! The Boston University Women’s Guild fosters diversity, inclusion, and community while celebrating the contributions of all who identify as women. It supports students through scholarships and graduate housing at Fisk House. Membership is open to BU faculty and staff of all gender identities and expressions.

Boston University's Women of Color Circle fosters a sense of community and camaraderie for people who identify as women of color across all campuses.
