(Option #1) The Google Memo and Pay Equity
Just when you thought this myth was dead, a former Google engineer gave it new life in August

attributes between women and men explain the underrepresentation of women in STEM
companies and in leadership positions? In this session, I present evidence of cutting-edge research on this question (spoiler alert: the answer in no!) and explore the evidence on other hypothesis: unconscious biases, gender roles, and the companies’ demand for temporal flexibility.

Want to secure a job in the workforce of tomorrow? How about doubling your salary? In 2015, the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology, said the United States would need to increase its yearly production of undergraduate STEM degrees by 34 percent over current rates to match the demand forecast for STEM professionals.Learn how Questrom alumnae have navigated their way into the world of STEM careers.
