HOW IT WORKS
Using Echo Lecture Capture
Echo Lecture Capture follows a simple three-step process: request recording for your course, capture the class session in a supported room, and make the processed recording available to students.
Step 1 — Request Capture
Submit an Echo request for the course or class sessions you want recorded.
Step 2 — Record in the Classroom
Lecture capture runs from supported classroom technology during the scheduled session.
Step 3 — Share the Recording
After the recording is processed, make it available to students through the appropriate course location.

Faculty can submit a request to have eligible Questrom class sessions recorded using Echo Lecture Capture.

Have the following information ready so Questrom IT can configure the correct course, classroom, and recording schedule.
- Course and section
- Classroom location
- Recording dates or recurring schedule
- Recording preference
- Any special instructions

Do all Questrom classrooms support Echo?
Lecture capture is available in supported classrooms. Check the classroom information or contact Questrom IT if you are unsure whether your room is equipped.
How do students access recorded lectures?
Recordings are made available through the course environment selected by the instructor.
Do I need to request Echo before class?
Yes. Submit an Echo request in advance so the recording setup can be associated with the correct course, room, and schedule.
