Who can use Microsoft Office?
Microsoft 365 is available to eligible current Boston University students through the University’s licensing program.
How many devices can I install Office on?
Eligible students can install Microsoft Office on up to 5 PCs or Macs, 5 tablets, and 5 smartphones for personal use.
What if Office will not install or activate?
Follow the troubleshooting steps in the official BU guide first. Questrom IT can help if the issue continues.
Can I share or transfer my Microsoft Office license?
No. The software must be installed on devices under the eligible student’s control and may not be sold, shared, or transferred to another person.
