Financial Aid

Questrom Graduate Emergency Fund

The Questrom School of Business has created an emergency fund to assist currently enrolled Questrom graduate students who have experienced an unexpected and limited financial hardship due to a situation beyond their control and are seeking a request for financial assistance. While we are committed to supporting our students in a variety of ways, please understand that our office may not be able to address all situations due to limited funds. For that reason, we are only able to award grants up to $1,500 per eligible student – grants are not guaranteed for everyone who applies.

Final determinations regarding these requests will be made at the discretion of the committee after careful consideration of each situation and after reviewing their financial aid status.

For those students who may be dealing with food insecurity, please find helpful information here.

    • Students must demonstrate an urgent and unforeseen financial need – including exhausted all other financial options and resources – including loans. Students must have borrowed the maximum Federal Unsubsidized Loan (if domestic student) or must have applied for credit-based loan and provided denial information.

Eligible Examples –Travel costs associated with personal or family emergency, unusually high medical expenses, displacement of housing, assistance with replacing items loss in fire, flood, or natural disaster
