Summer Financial Aid
Merit Scholarships
MBA + MSDT and MSBA students with summer scholarships will be awarded prior to the start of the summer semester. Students should reference their Admission/Scholarship Letter, which will state whether a summer scholarship is to be provided.
Federal Direct Loans
Summer financial aid is a separate process.
A student may be eligible to borrow a Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loan for the summer term if the student did not borrow all of their 20,500 annual unsubsidized loan limit during the prior academic year, or will not be borrowing the annual loan limit for the coming academic year. If you are enrolling in a summer semester, the amount borrowed will be placed against that annual limit.
Students must exhaust all of their unsubsidized loan eligibility, before being awarded a Graduate PLUS Loan
Students must be enrolled at least half-time (6 credits) over the course of both summer session 1 & 2 to be eligible for federal loans to disburse.

Graduate PLUS Loan Application
Federal Direct Graduate PLUS Loan Application
- Summer 2026 Requested Loan Period Start/End Dates: May 2026 – August 2026
- Students who indicate other loan periods, may either see their PLUS Loan applied to the incorrectly requested enrollment period, or will see their PLUS Loan request canceled.
Private Credit Based Loans
Students are eligible to borrow private educational loans for the summer. Please take a look at options for credit-based private lenders. If you intend on taking less than 6 credits, please be sure that your lender of choice allows this.
