Garrett Brower ’17

Major: Business Administration
Concentrations: Operations & Technology Management
Minor: English

I am a Questrom senior from Annapolis, Maryland concentrating in Operations & Technology Management and minoring in English. This is my third year of involvement in Questrom Student Government and I am excited to give back to an organization and a school that has given me so much. My focus for Questrom Student Government this year is to improve the Questrom student experience through advocacy initiatives based on student feedback and to execute these initiatives by reevaluating the distribution of Student Government resources to more accurately serve the interests of the Questrom student body. In addition to my extracurricular commitments I enjoy creative writing and exploring New England’s scenery. I love new experiences and meeting new people so please reach out to me personally if you’re interested in getting involved, seeking advice, or just wanting to say, “Hi!”

Executive Vice President

Joe Sweeney ’17

Major: Business Administration
Concentrations: Information Systems and Operations & Technology Management

My name is Joe Sweeney, and I grew up in rural Vermont. I am a senior in the Questrom School of Business studying Information Systems and Operations. I am passionate about empowering the study body with the ability to make impactful changes in Questrom in order to improve the student experience. Feedback from all students and student organizations allow for this, and I encourage anyone with an idea on how to better the school to contact myself or someone else on the executive board. When I am not dedicating time to my studies and campus activities, I enjoy exploring the city as well as taking trips out of town to hike and explore. If you have any questions about anything, please feel free to reach out!

My name is Nayantara and I am from Coimbatore, a textile city in India. I am a Sophomore leaning towards concentrating in Operation and Technology Management alongside Entrepreneurship. Ever since I joined the Questrom Student Government in my freshman year, I have loved being a part it and have learned a lot, especially by chairing the Casino Night committee last year. Kaizen, the Japanese principle of continuos improvement, is my motto for life. My goal is to give back to Questrom by working hard towards improving student life. When I am not in campus, I enjoy doing outdoor activities such as kayaking, parasailing and bungee jumping. I love traveling and have been to 17 countries and hope to visit more soon. I also love learning more about different cultures and perception. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any suggestions or have anything you want to talk about. Carpe Diem!
