Using Bloomberg at Questrom

New to Bloomberg? Start at a designated Questrom workstation, sign in to Bloomberg, and use BU Libraries’ guides to learn the commands and research tools you’ll need.

Find a Terminal

Visit one of the designated Bloomberg workstations in HAR 328 or HAR 427.

Sign In

Launch Bloomberg Terminal and sign in with your Bloomberg account. If you’re a first-time user, follow the on-screen instructions to create your Bloomberg profile.

Learn the Interface

Bloomberg is built around functions and commands. BU Libraries’ tutorials can help you learn how to navigate the Terminal and find the tools relevant to your research.

On-Campus Access

Bloomberg Terminal access is provided through licensed, installed campus workstations. Plan to complete Terminal work while you are at an available Bloomberg workstation.

Check Lab Access

Bloomberg workstations are located inside Questrom computer-lab spaces. Access and hours differ by location, so check lab availability before you visit.

Can I access Bloomberg from home?

Bloomberg Terminal access through Questrom is provided on installed campus workstations. Use one of the designated Bloomberg locations when you need Terminal access.

Who can use the Bloomberg terminals?

Access depends on the location. HAR 328 serves Questrom students and other eligible Open Access Lab users, while HAR 427 is reserved for graduate students.
