Classroom Technology Quick Guide

Display Your Content

Wake the Touch Panel
Touch the classroom control panel to begin. If the system is off, selecting a source will start the classroom display system.

Select Your Source
USB-C, HDMI, PC, or Wireless. The projector, room cameras, and microphones will turn on automatically, the screen will lower automatically.

Connect Your Device
If you’re using your own laptop, connect it using the available classroom connection and select the matching input on the touch panel.
USB-C also provides power to your laptop.
Lecture capture (Echo 360) camera controls are preset
AUDIO CONTROLS
Adjust the Volume
Audio and Speech
Press the volume button on the bottom bar.
Adjust Volume
Press up and down buttons to adjust speech volume, and computer volume separately.
Make sure your laptop or source device is also producing audio and isn’t muted.
DISPLAY CONTROL
Need to Hide Your Screen?

Open Utilities
Select Utilities from the classroom touch panel.

Hide or Restore the Display
Press ‘Hide Content’ to stop audio and computer being recorded. Then press Show content when ready.
Use the Utilities screen to temporarily hide or restore displayed content
WHEN YOU'RE FINISHED
Shut Down the Classroom System

Select Power
Open the system power controls on the classroom touch panel.

Confirm Shutdown
Follow the on-screen prompt and confirm that you want to shut down the classroom system.

Let the System Finish
Allow the equipment to complete its shutdown process before leaving the room.
Please shut down the classroom system when you’re finished. This leaves the room ready for the next class and allows the installed equipment to power down properly
QUICK TROUBLESHOOTING
Something Isn't Working?
No Image on the Display
Confirm that the correct source is selected on the classroom touch panel and that your laptop or presentation device is fully connected.
Laptop Is Connected but Nothing Appears
Check your computer’s display settings and make sure it is sending video to the external display. Disconnecting and reconnecting the cable or adapter can also help.
No Sound
Make sure your computer isn’t muted and that its output volume is turned up. Then check the presentation volume on the classroom touch panel.
Wrong Source Is Showing
Return to the source-selection screen and select the computer, laptop connection, or other input you want to display.
Touch Panel Isn't Responding
Give the system a moment to respond. If the touch panel remains unresponsive or the classroom system cannot be used, contact Questrom Tech.
