Michael Salinger is the Jacqueline J. and Arthur S. Bahr Professor in Management at Boston University Questrom School of Business, where he has been on the faculty since 1990. Prior to joining the BU faculty, he was Associate Professor of Business Economics at Columbia Business School. From 2005 to 2007, he served as Director of the Bureau of Economics at the United States Federal Trade Commission. He holds a Ph.D. in economics from MIT and a B.A. from Yale.
