About the Questrom Health & Life Sciences Conference


Our Mission

The Health & Life Sciences Conference reflects the efforts of Health Sector Management MBA students at the Questrom School of Business. The Conference aims to elevate the level of discussion around the ever-changing needs and trends of the US health sector, to convene experts across the healthcare ecosystem, and to foster collaborative conversations.

We hope this Conference invigorates current health sector leaders and inspires the future generation to come together to address the challenges, and opportunities in this complex and constantly evolving field.

Gabrielle Dell’Aquilo

Gabrielle Dell’Aquilo

Co-Chair

Gabrielle Dell’Aquilo is a second-year MBA student in the Health Sector Management program at Questrom. She graduated from Boston College with a BS in Management while concentrating on Marketing and minoring in Philosophy. Before coming to Questrom, she worked for Epsilon where she managed the CRM and data solutions for a number of Fortune 500 companies. While at Questrom, she has been interning at Rock Health and completed a summer internship at Amwell. Following graduation, she hopes to pursue a career in the digital health space.

Simona Gilman

Simona Gilman

Co-Chair

Simona Gilman is a second year MBA student in the Health Sector Management program at Questrom. She graduated from Tufts University with a BA in Economics and International Relations prior to a career in marketing with several health-technology startups in the Boston area. Most recently she was the Director of Marketing for GNS Healthcare, an AI-driven precision medicine company building computer models of disease for in silico simulations. In the summer of 2021 she interned at Janssen and following graduation from Questrom hopes to pursue a career in marketing for pharmaceutical companies focusing on rare disease.

Evan Piccarillo

Evan Piccarillo

Director of External Relations

Evan Piccirillo is a 2nd year, full-time MBA student in the Health Sector Management program at Questrom. He graduated from Trinity College in 2015 with a B.A. in Philosophy and minor in Legal Studies. Following Trinity, Evan held positions at The Bank of New York Mellon and in the Investments Office at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. This past summer, Evan worked as a consultant in the Healthcare Advisory practice at Cognizant. Evan is passionate about the healthcare space and plans to continue working in the industry while at Questrom and beyond.

Garima Sharma

Garima Sharma

Director of Marketing

Garima Sharma is a second-year MBA student in the Health Sector Management program at Questrom. She graduated from the University of Manitoba with a BS in Chemistry and from Western University of Health Sciences with a MS in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Before coming to Questrom, she worked in both industry and academics as a research scientist within pharmaceutical formulation While at Questrom, she has held intern positions at Novartis, MassChallenge HealthTech and Elucid Bio. In the Summer of 2021 she interned at PricewaterhouseCoopers within Health Industry Advisory – Pharma & Life Sciences vertical as a Senior Associate Consultant. Following graduation, she hopes to pursue a career in GTM & Pricing strategies for pharmaceutical companies.

Elizabeth Seidman

Director of Operations

Elizabeth (Lizzie) Seidman is a second-year MBA student in the Health Sector Management program at Questrom. She graduated from Boston College with a BA in Psychology and completed the pre-med/pre-dental field of study. Before coming to Questrom, she worked for MIT Sloan School of Management in a range of roles but most recently for their Registrar optimizing a high level of registration related services for 1200+ graduate students. Lizzie interned at athenahealth this past summer working on a project for their Customer Success Strategy and Operations team and hopes to continue working there post-graduation (or for a company within the health tech space).

Alexa Bragg

Alexa Bragg

Alexa Bragg is a first-year MBA student in the Health Sector Management Program at Questrom. She graduated from Gordon College with a BS in Biology and International Affairs. Before Questrom, she worked for the Department of Family of Medicine at Boston Medical Center as a Research Coordinator and Grants Administrator. She has co-authored two research articles and hopes to pursue a career in health service research to develop equitable care delivery models.

Charmaine Ho

Charmaine Ho

Charmaine Ho is a first-year Health Sector MBA student at Questrom. She graduated from University Malaysia Sabah with a BSc in Food Science and Nutrition. Before Questrom, she worked at ASP Medical Group, a healthcare company focusing on Managed Care and Digital Health. There, she focused on marketing activities and healthcare solutions for corporate clients and national agencies. She also provides nutrition advice to clients who require them. Post graduation, she hopes to pursue a career in the healthcare delivery space.

Anjani Ludu

Anjani Ludu

Anjani Ludu is a first-year dual-degree MPH/MBA student in the Health Sector Management program at Questrom. She graduated from Seattle University’s Honors Program with a BA in Sociology and a minor in Philosophy. Before coming to Questrom, she managed a Business Formation Law Firm, and most recently, worked at The Polyclinic Seattle, Part of Optum as an Analyst focusing on patient care, interdepartmental communications and technological system advancements. Anjani is passionate about working at the intersection of Business and Public Health and hopes to pursue a career within the strategic and operational side of healthcare.

Emily Weinberg

Emily Weinberg

Emily Weinberg is a first-year MBA student in the Health Sector Management program at Questrom. She graduated from Georgetown University with a BA in Economics. Before coming to Questrom, Emily worked at Google working in digital growth strategy for high potential early and late stage startups. In addition, she did a part-time project for the Verily Life Sciences Product Operations and Program Management team where she supported Verily Healthy @ Work, COVID-19 program. Following graduation, she hopes to pursue a career in food sciences and biotech in the startup ecosystem.
