Our Mission

The Health & Life Sciences Conference reflects the efforts of Health Sector Management MBA students at the Questrom School of Business.

The Conference aims to elevate the level of discussion around the ever-changing needs and trends of the US health sector, to convene experts across the healthcare ecosystem, and to foster collaborative conversations.

We hope this Conference invigorates current health sector leaders and inspires the future generation to come together to address the challenges, and opportunities in this complex and constantly evolving field.

Antonia Bignotti Kelly

Antonia graduated from the University of Kansas with a B.A. in Human Biology and a minor in Sociology. After completing her undergraduate studies, she worked as a Research Assistant and Laboratory Manager at the University of Kansas Medical Center, where she gained valuable experience in healthcare research and operations.
Originally from Santiago, Chile, she is committed to strengthening the connection between business strategy and public health to improve healthcare outcomes globally. Outside of her studies, she enjoys trying new sports, baking cakes, and exploring new restaurants.

Gabbrielle Simmons

Director of Alumni Relations

Second-year Health Sector MBA/MPH dual degree student

Gabby graduated from Cornell University with a B.S. in Biology and a minor in Health Policy Analysis. Most recently, she worked as the Essential Medicine Sourcing Lead for GHSC-PSM (Global Health Supply Chain – Procurement and Supply Management), the highest-value USAID contract ever awarded. Previously, she was a Manager at Trinity Life Sciences’ EVAP practice, where she specialized in market access and pricing strategy for biopharma clients. Outside of work, Gabby enjoys running, reading, and wildlife conservation.

Nicholas Marinelli

Director of Finance

Second-year Health Sector MBA student

Nick graduated from Boston College with a B.S. in Management, double majoring in Accounting and Information Systems. Most recently, he worked as a Manager at CFGI, serving clients across industries with technical accounting guidance, RPA engineering, and strategic project execution. Before that, he was a Manager in EY New York’s audit practice, supporting some of the firm’s largest banking and capital markets clients. Passionate about teaching and helping others, Nick is now transitioning to the healthcare industry, where he aims to leverage his business background to improve patient outcomes.

Dr. Ali Asger Mohammad, PharmD

Director of Operations

Second-year Health Sector MBA student

Ali holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and has extensive experience as a Duty Medical Officer in a 100-bedded hospital. Prior to business school, he spent over five years at Chegg, where he led academic training, curriculum development, and content quality initiatives. At Questrom, Ali has applied his clinical and operational expertise through consulting projects with Boston Medical Center and research in toddler behavioral health. He currently serves as a Research Assistant in developmental psychology, Admission Ambassador, and Graduate Teaching Assistant for the Specialty Master’s Program at Questrom. Passionate about healthcare transformation, Ali is focused on advancing efficient, patient-centered care models by bridging clinical insight with strategic management. Outside of school, he enjoys connecting with new people, traveling, and exploring ideas at the intersection of health and technology.

Soleha Patel

Director of Marketing

Second-year MBA student

Boston University Questrom School of Business

Soleha graduated with a B.S. in Biomedical Sciences from the University of New Hampshire and gained experience in research and clinical trials at Boston Children’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School. Soleha is passionate about bridging the gap between clinical research and healthcare management, aiming for a future in project or product delivery within the biotech and pharmaceutical industries. Outside of her studies, she enjoys running along the Charles River, learning to play the keyboard, taking Polaroid photos, exploring new brunch spots, and fencing occasionally.
