Overview
Echo Lecture Capture allows faculty to record their classroom lectures. It is available in all Questrom classrooms.
Both audio and video are recorded. The audio comes from microphones inside the classroom. The video consists of the following:
- camera directed at the front of the classroom
- screen of podium or laptop computer
After a lecture is captured, the instructor will receive a link to the recorded material.
The instructor can then forward the link to the students or post it to Questrom Tools.
Classes are captured by default at both the undergraduate and graduate levels for all classes that meet in Hariri, but the scheduling is a manual process.
If your room or schedule change, please alert ITS staff with sufficient notice at questromhelp@bu.edu.
In the event that you need a portion of a class to be edited, please try the methods shown at Echo360’s website and let ITS know if you need further assistance.
