Questrom has many custom applications that facilitate the operations of the school.
Questrom Calendar
(students, staff, faculty)
Questrom Calendar is a system to manage events all throughout the school. Anyone can submit events to the calendar. However, only administrators will be able to approve them. All calendar events can be filtered by target population (graduate, undergraduate, executive, etc). In addition, the calendar system feeds all advertising systems on Questrom Tools and around the building.
Questrom Poll
(students, staff, faculty)
Questrom Poll is a real-time, crowd-sourcing application for Q&A purposes. It is available to all Questrom students, staff, and faculty. Using the application, the audience can ask and vote for their favorite questions. The most popular questions float to the top in order to draw attention to the speaker(s). Questrom Poll is most known for its use in the Dean’s Speaker Series.
Questrom Connect
(students, staff, faculty, alumni)
Questrom Connect is a web platform designed to facilitate productive and educational relationships between all current Questrom students and Questrom alumni professionals. Questrom Connect helps to match students and professionals for the purposes of informational interviewing, job shadowing, career advice, mentoring, and more.
Questrom Room Reservation System
(faculty, staff)
The Room Reservation system allows faculty, staff, teaching assistants to reserve conference rooms and classrooms throughout Questrom for their course, department or program
Team Room Reservation System
(students)
The Team Room Reservation system allows students to reserve team rooms throughout Questrom. Reservations for a room can be made the same day or starting at 10PM for the next day.
Fixit
(students, staff, faculty)
Use this application to send requests to fix problems around the Hariri Building.
Faculty Information System & Annual Report
(staff, faculty)
The faculty information system is a comprehensive application that allows faculty to edit their profiles, personal information, publications, etc. This system also allows faculty to generate the Annual Report as required.
Course Planning
(staff, faculty)
This application is used by faculty, department chairs, and staff to track and plan course data, including descriptions, schedules, assigned faculty, and more. The application also provides reports on that data, such as faculty workloads by semester.
Personnel
(staff)
This application is used by the Dean’s Office to manage data about faculty and staff, such as BU IDs, addresses, phone numbers, and contracts. The data managed by this application is used to create and update faculty and staff directory pages.
Faculty Development Funds
(staff, faculty)
This application is used by faculty, department chairs, and staff to view information on faculty research fund balances including previous year’s balance, starting balance, expenses, current balance, and notes.
Course Packets
(students, staff, faculty)
This application is used by the Susilo Business Center as a listing of all currently offered course packets. Students can also use the application to purchase their course packets in advance.
